UNED has opened enrolment in Ronda for the 2026-2027 academic year. The Ronda Classroom offers three educational pathways, including a degree in Early Childhood Education.
The UNED Classroom in Ronda has initiated the enrolment period for the upcoming academic year, which will run from July to October. The municipal delegate for Universities, Margarita Pavía, has emphasised that the local campus is consolidating as a key resource for residents of the Serranía to access university without having to travel to other cities.
The educational offer includes three pathways. The first is the access course for those over 25, designed for those wishing to begin higher education and also to prepare for competitive exams. The second is the access course for those over 45, which facilitates entry to university through UNED. The third is the degree in Early Childhood Education, introduced last year and which, according to Pavía, has been very well received.
In-person tutorials at the San Francisco Civic Centre
The training combines distance learning with weekly in-person tutorials. These classes are held at the San Francisco Civic Centre in Ronda, with specialised teaching staff. Additionally, students can attend sessions online, providing scheduling flexibility.
Pavía has highlighted the continuity in education that the degree offers for those coming from the Higher Vocational Training in Early Childhood Education, as it allows for the validation of a significant number of subjects. This makes it easier for vocational training graduates to complete their university education in less time.
Opportunities for local residents
The municipal official has encouraged interested individuals to formalise their enrolment within the established timeframe. She noted that UNED's educational proposal in Ronda strengthens academic opportunities in the city and prevents students from having to travel to Málaga or other parts of the province. “It is an open door to university education without leaving Ronda”, Pavía stated.
The UNED Classroom in Ronda serves students not only from the municipality but also from nearby towns in the Serranía. In-person tutorials and the support of teaching staff are added value for those who prefer direct contact with their teachers. The enrolment period will remain open until October, and detailed information is available on the UNED website or at the Ronda Classroom offices.
