La Dehesa hosts the Water Festival this Saturday, August 15, organised by the La Paz neighbourhood association with the collaboration of the Ronda Town Hall. There will be free communal rice, a bar with affordable prices, and a lottery raffle.
The municipal delegate for Citizen Participation, Cristina Durán, and the president of the La Paz neighbourhood association, Salvador Guerrero 'Pico', have presented the Water Festival that will take place next Saturday, August 15, on Giner de los Ríos street, in the La Dehesa neighbourhood of Ronda.
The event, which will kick off at noon, will include free communal rice at 2:00 PM, a bar service at affordable prices, and a raffle for two Christmas Lottery tickets. The day will also feature the traditional water party and foam party, designed to combat the summer heat.
Durán has invited all residents of Ronda, "young and old," not to miss these activities and emphasised the Town Hall's satisfaction in collaborating with the neighbourhood association on this initiative. For his part, Guerrero thanked the municipal collaboration and encouraged residents to enjoy the proposal.
The festival is part of the summer activities programme promoted by the neighbourhood entities of Ronda with the support of the Town Hall. The event is on Saturday, August 15, in La Dehesa, providing an opportunity for community gathering and family leisure in the middle of August.
The La Paz neighbourhood association expects high participation, as in previous editions, and reminds everyone that entry is free. Those wishing to attend only need to bring their enthusiasm for fun and, if they prefer, spare clothes for the water party.
