Residents and visitors of Frigiliana have had a new schedule on the bus line connecting the municipality with Nerja since August 10. The change comes with the new service operator, Grupo Verano Azul, which has redesigned the frequencies to meet the travel needs between the two towns.
The new service operates from Monday to Saturday and also has specific schedules for Sundays and public holidays. Additionally, during the summer months, special night services are maintained, allowing for longer stays in Nerja or returning to Frigiliana at later hours, a measure designed for the peak tourist season.
The Frigiliana Town Hall has explained that the aim is to improve mobility and connectivity between both municipalities, offering a greater variety of options to residents, workers, and visitors. The council hopes that this update will facilitate daily commutes and help reduce dependence on private vehicles.
