The Málaga Fair 2026 will be held from August 14 to 22 with the Centre and the Real as venues. More than 40 free concerts, bullfights, and equestrian shows make up the programme.

The Málaga City Council has announced the complete programme for the Málaga Fair 2026, which will take place from August 14 to 22. The city will once again feature two main locations: the Historic Centre and the Fair Real, one of the few Andalusian capitals that maintains this dual venue.

The event will kick off on Friday, August 14, with the Historical Parade, which will depart at 20:00 from Plaza de la Merced to Plaza de la Aduana. After midnight, at 23:50, there will be a light show with drones, followed at 00:00 by the traditional pyromusical show next to the cruise terminal.

On Saturday, August 15, the pilgrimage to the Basilica of Victoria will begin, with actress María Barranco as the standard-bearer, and at 21:30, the coach of Málaga CF, Juan Francisco Funes, will deliver the opening speech from the Fair Real. The day will conclude with a gala by Diana Navarro at the Municipal Auditorium.

The programme includes daily bullfights at La Malagueta, with notable events such as the tribute bullfight to Málaga CF on Monday, August 17, or the one on Saturday, August 22, commemorating the 150th anniversary of the plaza featuring Morante de la Puebla, Roca Rey, and David de Miranda.

The free concerts at the Municipal Auditorium will be one of the main attractions. Artists such as David De María (Sunday, August 16), Tabletom and Medina Azahara (Tuesday, August 18), Nancys Rubias (Wednesday, August 19), Zenet (Thursday, August 20), Antonio Carmona (Friday, August 21), and Paloma San Basilio at the closing on Saturday, August 22, will perform.

The Municipal Flamenco and Copla Tent will offer recitals every night, while the Equestrian Exhibition Centre will host shows like "Between jábegas and horses" or "Galloping airs through the Serranía." The verdiales festivals on Calle Larios will take place on Saturdays, August 15 and 22, and Mondays, August 17 and Thursday, August 20, featuring various Málaga groups.

The programme also includes the election of the Fair Queen and Mister on Monday, August 17, the Amazonas parade and costume contest on Tuesday, August 18, and the traditional magical fair "From the Earth to the Moon" on Sunday, August 16, in Plaza de la Merced.

Residents and visitors can check the complete schedules on the municipal website. The Málaga Fair 2026 promises an intense week with activities for all audiences, from 11:00 until dawn, in one of the most important festive events on the Andalusian calendar.
