In Málaga, the Junta of Andalucía has called for aid totalling €17,621,000 aimed at local entities, third sector organisations, and public universities. The main objective of these grants is the development of projects related to reconciliation and shared responsibility.
Details of the call
The Official Bulletin of the Junta of Andalucía (BOJA) has published this line of grants today, which is part of the Corresponsables Plan from the Ministry of Equality. This initiative, which began in 2021, seeks to guarantee care as a right in Spain, promoting equality between women and men.
These funds are primarily intended for families with children and young people up to 16 years old. The objectives include: promoting the reconciliation of work and family life, creating quality jobs in the care sector, and dignifying the professional experience of informal care.
Increase in amount and conditions
The Ministry of Social Services, Families and Equality has increased this year the amount of this line of aid by €1.3 million, reaffirming its commitment to reconciliation policies. This effort is notable, as the Ministry of Equality applied a cut of 25% to the amount allocated to Andalucía for the Corresponsables Plan in 2025, which will result in a loss of €7.7 million that the Junta will have to co-finance.
In 2025, the execution percentage of the Corresponsables Plan in Andalucía was 98.98%, demonstrating the efficient use of these aids.
The deadline for submitting applications will extend until 10 October. The call is divided into three specific lines: non-profit private entities will receive €4.5 million for reconciliation projects, public universities will have €500,000, and local entities will have €12.6 million for their projects.
