The First Vice President and Minister of the Presidency, Health and Emergencies of the Junta de Andalucía, Antonio Sanz, has today delivered a total of 850 new tablets in Málaga aimed at optimizing the use of the Digital Clinical History in Mobility (HCDM). This delivery is part of a broader program to renew the technological resources of the emergency health teams 061 and the urgent care services of Primary Care in Andalucía.
Significant investment to improve care
The investment for this initiative exceeds 3 million euros, allowing all emergency health teams 061 and the mobile urgent care teams of Primary Care to have these new tablets from October. With them, professionals will be able to consult the patient's Digital Clinical History during their intervention.
In addition to facilitating care during emergencies, Antonio Sanz highlighted that in a second phase, the use of these devices will be extended to the mobilizable Primary Care teams, which until now did not have this tool.
Distribution of devices and implemented improvements
The new tablets will be distributed across various provinces of Andalucía: Almería will receive 89 devices; Cádiz, 124; Córdoba, 89; Granada, 95; Huelva, 97; Jaén, 101; Málaga, 123; and Sevilla, 132. This action will significantly increase the number of care units that will be able to work with the Digital Clinical History in Mobility.
The HCDM is the mobility module of Diraya and allows healthcare professionals to access relevant clinical information at the place of assistance, which is crucial in critical situations. Immediate access to data such as medical history, allergies, and health conditions improves clinical assessment and decision-making.
Since its implementation in 2010, the HCDM has recorded over 3 million assists, reflecting its increasing integration into out-of-hospital care. The renewal of the tablets includes improvements for automatic integration with medical devices, which will optimize time in emergency situations, thus helping to save lives.
