New application period for Vocational Training
The town of Málaga will host a new application period to cover 7,285 vacant places in Vocational Training. This initiative is driven by the Education Department and will commence in the coming days.
The deadline for submitting applications ends on 28 September, while the allocations will take place on 29 September. These places correspond to fully offered training cycles that still have available school spots and do not have waiting lists.
Details about the vacancies
Of the total places offered, the majority corresponds to basic degrees, with 3,012 vacancies, followed by intermediate degrees with 2,701 and higher degrees with 1,572. The five professional families with the most vacancies are: Administration and Management (1,734), Hospitality and Tourism (1,110), Computing and Communications (774), Agriculture (693), and Socio-Cultural Services and Community (519).
In the basic degree, there are vacant places in 366 training offers, highlighting the cycles of Administrative Services (553), Computing and Communications (444), and Agro-Gardening and Floral Arrangements (323). In the case of the intermediate degree, 361 offers have vacancies, with the Administrative Management cycle standing out with 830 available places.
For higher degree cycles, there are 245 offers, with Administration and Finance (261 vacancies) and Guide, Information and Tourist Assistance (205 places) being the most notable. Interested individuals should preferably submit their admission application through the Virtual Secretariat of the Andalusian centres.
Applicants can opt for these vacancies even if they participated in the ordinary admission process in June and are on the waiting list. The allocation of places will be carried out via an SMS notification to the number indicated in the application, and the successful applicants will have 48 hours to accept or decline the place.
The allocation process will be repeated weekly until 15 November, updating the available places after each allocation, creating new opportunities for students wishing to access Vocational Training in Málaga.
