The Minister of University, Industry, Energy and Innovation of Andalusia, Jorge Paradela, recently met with the leaders of CCOO in Andalusia to present the strategic lines of his department for this legislative term. This plan aims to leverage the connection between the knowledge ecosystem and industry to promote the creation of quality jobs in Málaga.
Objectives and action plan
During the meeting, attended by the General Secretary of CCOO Andalucía, Nuria López, and the Secretary of Sectoral Strategies, Enrique Jiménez, Paradela highlighted the importance of this collaboration. This meeting is part of a series of encounters that the minister has held with social actors and the university community, in order to specify the program of initiatives planned for the period 2026-2030.
The minister indicated that the integration of competencies in universities, industry, energy, innovation, entrepreneurship, research, and mining under a single ministry will facilitate synergies and the creation of a collaborative ecosystem among different sectors.
Goals and necessary collaboration
The action is organized around three main objectives: to generate prosperity, strategic autonomy, and knowledge-based leadership. This will translate into five specific objectives, which will be measured through 20 monitoring indicators.
To implement this strategy, a first program has been designed that includes 33 initiatives. Paradela emphasized that collaboration between institutions, social agents, and the business sector is essential for the success of this plan, which will be complemented by additional proposals that will be discussed with the rectors of public universities in Andalusia in the coming weeks.
