The second edition of the solidarity crossing 'Always Strong' will take place on September 26 in Málaga. The proceeds will go to FMAEC and Fundación Héroes.
The councillor for Social Rights of the Málaga City Council, Francisco Cantos, presented the II Solidarity Crossing 'Always Strong' this Thursday, which will be held on September 26 in the capital. The event, organised by the project named after the Málaga native Pablo Ráez, will allocate the proceeds to the Málaga Foundation for Assistance to Cancer Patients (FMAEC) and the Heroes Foundation.
Present at the event were Esther Ráez, Pablo's sister and representative of the project; the president of FMAEC, José Aldecoa; and the president of the Heroes Foundation, Fernando Moreno. Before the presentation, the mayor of Málaga, Francisco de la Torre, met with Esther Ráez.
The day will begin at 10:30 am with a crossing in open sea for boats and clubs, with a donation of 10 euros. The Breast Cancer Survivor group, consisting of women who have survived breast cancer, will also participate. All boats will gather in front of Astilleros Nereo, where Esther Ráez will read a manifesto in memory of her brother.
Afterwards, the Club Hípico-La Isla will host an event featuring music, performances, and a charity raffle, with an entry fee of 25 euros. Those interested can find more information through the social media of the 'Always Strong' project.
