The leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, kicked off the political season in Alhaurín el Grande with harsh criticisms of the Government and promises such as pursuing organised crime on the Malaga coast.
Alhaurín el Grande was the chosen venue by the PP this Friday to inaugurate its political season with the traditional fried eggs gathering. The party leader, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, attended as the guest of honour at a community event organised by the Malaga populars, as reported by Diario Sur.
Feijóo took advantage of the event to distance himself from Pedro Sánchez's Government and announce his priorities if he reaches La Moncloa. Among them, he promised to "fight against organised crime on the Malaga coast, on the Costa del Sol and throughout southern Spain" until he manages to imprison the criminals.
The opposition leader slammed the Executive's management during the Ceuta crisis, stating that Sánchez "took a month to activate the National Security Law" and that he went to Congress "to say nothing". In his speech, he issued a direct warning to the socialists: "We are going to throw you out!".

Feijóo also outlined his commitment to a "fair" regional financing for Andalusia, focused on "funding healthcare, education and social policies". On an internal note, he stated that if he does not fulfil his project, "I will leave, which is what Sánchez should have done".
The President of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, acted as host and introduced Feijóo as the only alternative to bring stability to Spain. The president of the PP in Malaga, Patricia Navarro, and the vice president of the Provincial Council, Antonia Ledesma, former mayor of Alhaurín el Grande, also spoke at the event.
