Playa del Copo will host the End of Summer Festival in Torre del Mar on Friday, August 28, featuring performances by Camin, Corazón Inverso, and Oliver Gil starting at 21:30, along with fireworks.

Torre del Mar will bid farewell to summer 2026 with a new edition of its traditional End of Summer Festival, which will take place on Friday, August 28, at Playa del Copo. The Vélez-Málaga City Council has confirmed that the evening will kick off at 21:30 with a performance by Corazón Inverso, a local group that will have a special role in this event.

The first deputy mayor and mayor of Torre del Mar, Jesús Pérez Atencia, presented the poster for an evening that has already become a must-attend event on the Costa del Sol this Thursday. "Today we present one of those events that we look forward to with special excitement each year, our End of Summer Festival in Torre del Mar," explained the councillor, who highlighted that "we want it to be a night to go out, meet, enjoy our beach, and celebrate everything that summer has been in Torre del Mar."

The programme will continue at 22:30 with a performance by Camin, one of the major attractions of the night. According to Atencia, the artist "perfectly represents the energy, talent, and youthful spirit that we want this festival to embody." The musical finale will be provided by Oliver Gil, who will set the final rhythm for the evening from midnight.

In addition to the music, the event will include the screening of the traditional end-of-summer video, a recap of the season's highlights, and a fireworks display that will light up the night by the sea. "We like to be able to feature artists from here, to highlight the talent we have nearby and give them their space in the major events we hold in Torre del Mar," Atencia noted regarding the presence of local groups.

The councillor emphasized the positive balance of the summer season in the town, with a notable influx of residents and visitors in beaches, streets, and establishments. "It is a source of pride to see how our beaches, our streets, and our establishments have once again seen a significant presence of residents and visitors," he stated.

The festival, which is free to access, presents an opportunity to say goodbye to summer in a privileged setting. "There is no better way to wrap up the summer than to do it together, with a party open to everyone in such a beloved place as Playa del Copo," concluded Atencia, inviting residents and tourists to enjoy this great night.
