The summer sports camps in Torremolinos will conclude on August 28, having offered 1,100 places, a 33% increase compared to 2021. A total of 756 students have participated in five shifts.

The summer sports camps in Torremolinos will close on August 28 with participation that reinforces the Town Hall's commitment to this initiative. This edition has offered 1,100 places, compared to 825 five years ago, representing a 33% increase.

A total of 756 students have taken part in the various shifts, some in more than one discipline throughout the summer. The offer has been aimed at children aged between 4 and 14, with options such as pre-sport, multi-sport, rhythm, rhythmic gymnastics, and racket sports.

The main objective of these camps is to facilitate the work-life balance of families during the school holidays, providing children with an active leisure alternative. In addition to the sports disciplines, participants have enjoyed complementary activities such as hockey, frisbee, orientation games, music, or dance, as well as swimming pool sessions and excursions to Aqualand or Crocodile Park.

This offer has been supplemented by specific football, basketball, and skating camps, organised by the respective clubs in the municipality, thus expanding the options available for families in Torremolinos.

The increase in places demonstrates the positive reception of these programmes, which have become a key resource for parents during the summer months. The 2026 edition has included five shifts, a structure that remains consistent with previous years.

With the end of the camps, families in Torremolinos can look forward to the next edition, which is expected to maintain or expand the number of places to continue meeting the demand for work-life balance and sports leisure in the summer.
