The Gran Parque de Mijas hosts the Costa del Sol Mijas Open'26 from September 11 to 13, with 290 participants and 17 courts. This is the second time the municipality has hosted an event on the national circuit.

The Gran Parque de Mijas once again serves as the venue for the Costa del Sol Mijas Open'26, a tournament on the national pickleball circuit Pickle Pro Tour, taking place from September 11 to 13. The tournament will bring together 290 players across 17 courts set up in the sports area and the amphitheatre of the venue.

This is the second edition hosted by the municipality following last year's event, where local player María Costantino was crowned champion in mixed doubles. Mijas takes over from Madrid, which held its matches in the Plaza Mayor, and La Coruña, where games were played on a floating platform in the sea.

The competition, organised by the Real Federación Española de Tenis (RFET), is supported by the Ayuntamiento de Mijas and the Diputación Provincial de Málaga. There will be 26 categories contested at levels 3.5, 4.5, PRO, and for those over 50 and 60 years old, with a total of 866 matches.

The event is free and open to the public, starting at 09:00 hours each day. Sunday the 13th is reserved for the PRO category finals, five matches that will crown the overall champions in men's and women's singles, men's and women's doubles, and mixed doubles.

The organisation will award gold, silver, and two bronze medals per category based on the final standings. All information is available on the tournament's website.
