The José Pernía Calderón Auditorium, located in the La Constitución park of Marbella, will be the venue this Friday, August 28, at 21:00 hours, for the concert 'The Dance of Death: Fantastic Nocturnes', performed by the Bowen Duo.
The duo consists of violist Adrián Martínez and pianist Michael Davidov, two internationally acclaimed performers who have played in venues such as the National Auditorium, Palau de la Música Catalana, and Euskalduna Palace, among others.
The programme offers a journey through different eras and styles with works by Johannes Wenzeslaus Kalliwoda, Carl Reinecke, York Bowen, Alexander Borodin, Astor Piazzolla, and Camille Saint-Saëns.
Both musicians combine their performance activities with the artistic direction of projects such as the York Bowen International Music Festival, the Johannes Brahms Music Festival, the International Music Festival of Marbella, and the D. Steinberg International Piano Competition.
