On July 8, the Sea Grill restaurant at Puente Romano Marbella will host a wine dinner featuring four vintages of Louis Roederer Cristal, a champagne that is only produced in exceptional harvests.

On July 8, the Sea Grill restaurant at Puente Romano Marbella will transform into the setting for a wine dinner that promises to be one of the gastronomic highlights of the summer. Twenty diners will have the opportunity to taste four vintages of the prestigious Louis Roederer Cristal, a champagne that the maison only produces in harvests it considers exceptional. The evening will begin with a tasting session led by Stéphane Richer de Forges, Export Manager of Louis Roederer, where three vintages will be tasted independently. Following this, a dinner will pair each dish with a different expression of the cuvée.

A Champagne That Is Not Improvised

Louis Roederer Brut Cristal is not a champagne that is made every year. The maison only produces it in vintages when the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from its Grand Cru vineyards in Champagne reach exceptional maturity. Once in the cellar, the wine rests for six years before being released to the market, more than double the time required by regulations for a vintage champagne, and an additional eight months after disgorgement. The result is a wine that can be preserved for over twenty years without losing its freshness or character. Exploring different vintages of Louis Roederer Brut Cristal is to enter into a conversation between harvests, understanding how each year speaks and how the savoir-faire of the maison decides which plots will be included in the blend.

Sea Grill, A Transformed Restaurant

Sea Grill is not the same as it was a year ago. In 2026, the iconic restaurant at Puente Romano Marbella has renovated its space, becoming more intimate, and has deepened its gastronomic proposal under the guidance of Leonardo Ferchero. The menu changes daily based on what arrives from the market, and the products are displayed on ice in the dining room for customers to see and choose before they reach the table. The service has revived the guéridon and carving in front of the diner, and the kitchen is open to the dining area. Additionally, there is a wine cellar with over 1,400 references managed by Alejandro Marcos, named Best Sommelier of Andalusia in 2015 and awarded in 2025 by the International Wine Challenge for the best cellar management. For local residents of Marbella, this dinner is a unique opportunity to experience the evolution of the restaurant and a legendary champagne, all in one night.

The evening begins with a tasting session of three vintages of Louis Roederer Brut Cristal, led by Stéphane Richer de Forges. This session can be enjoyed independently from the dinner for those who wish to explore the evolution of the cuvée without staying at the table. Afterwards, the dinner brings together the four vintages in a progressive proposal where each dish accompanies a different expression. The capacity is limited to just twenty people, and reservations are already available. For local readers, this is an event that combines luxury, tradition, and the best products from the Mediterranean, right at their doorstep.
