The PSOE headquarters in Marbella, located in the Plaza Marqués del Turia, appeared this Tuesday with its façade covered in vandalistic graffiti made during the night. The logo of the fist and the rose has been crossed out with black spray paint, and alongside it are messages such as 'Traitors, red punks', directed at the party members and the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez.
The socialist group has announced that it will file a complaint with the National Police to try to identify the perpetrators, according to Diario Sur. They will also proceed with the cleaning and restoration of the building, which holds special symbolic value for the local party as it is dedicated to Rafael Escuredo, the first president of the Junta de Andalucía in democracy.
The PSOE candidate for the mayoralty of Marbella, Isabel Pérez, has condemned the attack on social media: 'Political disagreement is legitimate, but it can never justify intimidation, insults, or damage to a political organisation.' In her message, she adds: 'Beware of the intolerant and the criminals who do these kinds of things. For them, there is no democracy or respect.'
