The Youth Department of Fuengirola opens the registration period for new students of the Theatre and Singing workshops. Registrations will be made with the Citizen Card starting from 2nd September at 20:00.
The Fuengirola City Council has opened the registration period for the municipal Theatre and Singing workshops for new students. The Youth Councillor, Isaac Vargas, has announced that applications will be made through the Citizen Card starting from 2nd September at 20:00.
Students who were enrolled last year had until this Monday to renew their places. Any available spots will be made available to all interested parties from the indicated date.
The Singing workshop will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays in the afternoon at the Colores building, with three groups: ages 6 to 12 (18:00 to 19:00), ages 13 to 17 (19:00 to 20:00), and ages 18 and over (20:00 to 21:00). The price is 29.90 euros/term for residents of Fuengirola and 42.70 euros/term for non-residents.
The Theatre workshop runs from October to June, on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the afternoon. It has four sessions: ages 6 to 9 (16:30 to 17:30), ages 10 to 12 (17:30 to 18:30), ages 13 to 16 (18:30 to 19:30), and ages 17 to 30 (19:30 to 21:30). Additionally, for the past two years, a fifth group for those over 30 has been added, which takes place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 19:00 to 21:00, also in the Colores building.
The first three theatre groups have the same price as the singing workshop. The fourth and fifth groups, with two hours of class, cost 59.80 euros/term for residents and 85.40 euros/term for non-residents.
“From the Youth Department, we announce the opening of registrations for new students in two of our annual workshops. The City Council wants to continue supporting the cultural and artistic development of our youth,” Vargas stated.
Registrations will be open from Wednesday 2nd September at 20:00 through the Citizen Card.
