The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) forecasts maximum temperatures of 35 degrees and few clouds that will clear by morning in Estepona tomorrow, Sunday.

The thermometers in Estepona are set to reach 35 degrees this Sunday, according to the latest update from the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET). The day will start with cloudy intervals that will give way to a completely clear sky by mid-morning, ideal for those planning a day at the beach or on a terrace.

Rising heat and southwest winds

The maximum temperatures this Sunday will slightly exceed those recorded on Saturday, peaking around 18:00 hours. The minimum temperatures will remain at 19 degrees, providing a night-time respite. The wind will blow lightly from the southwest, with no significant gusts expected.

For the residents and visitors of Estepona, the day looks stable and hot. AEMET recommends constant hydration and avoiding sun exposure during the peak hours of the day, especially for children and the elderly.

Monday and Tuesday: more heat and no rain in sight

Monday will continue the trend of stability, with clear skies and temperatures reaching close to 36 degrees maximum and 17 minimum. The light southerly wind will not alleviate the muggy feeling. Tuesday will be the hottest day of the week, with maximums of up to 37 degrees and minimums rising to 22, making the nights feel more tropical.

No precipitation is expected on any of the three days, so the people of Estepona can enjoy a weekend and start to the week without any meteorological surprises. The light breezes from the southwest will be the only companions in an atmosphere that invites seeking shade.

With this information, the Estepona City Council reminds that the municipal beaches and pools will be fully operational, and recommends caution in outdoor activities. The thermometers will not relent, so it’s time to arm oneself with patience, sunscreen, and plenty of water.
