The Casares Plenary Hall hosted the San Miguel event today, the patron saint of the Local Police, with the presentation of medals for 20 and 25 years of service and a tribute to Civil Guard José Manuel Reguera de la Flor upon his retirement after 31 years.
The Casares Plenary Hall has hosted the celebration of San Miguel, the patron saint of the Local Police, a recognition event for the work of the agents of the Local Headquarters that brought together local police, representatives of the Civil Guard, family members, residents, and members of the Municipal Corporation.
During the ceremony, medals for 20 and 25 years of service were awarded, congratulations were given for outstanding actions, and Civil Guard José Manuel Reguera de la Flor was honoured on the occasion of his retirement after 31 years of service.
The mayor, Juan Luis Villalón, thanked the agents for their training, commitment, and daily work in Casares Pueblo, Casares Costa, and El Secadero, and congratulated those who received medals and recognitions.

The mayor also announced the decoration of two agents for their outstanding performance during the storm that affected the municipality earlier this year.
The head of the Local Police, Ismael Arroyo, thanked the City Council for its support in providing material and human resources so that the Headquarters can provide a good service to the population.
Villalón also highlighted the coordination between the different bodies and security services, an aspect he considers essential to meet the needs of Casares.
