The Skate Park at Parque Innova will host the second edition of FU Benalmádena on July 18, a free freestyle and urban culture event. The gathering will bring together rappers such as Zasko, Jaloner, Belico, and Klan in a top-level battle.
On July 18, from 19:00 to 00:00, the Skate Park at Parque Innova will become the epicentre of national freestyle. The Councillor for Youth, Lucía Camero, presented this morning the second edition of FU Benalmádena, a free event that promises high-voltage battles and an urban culture atmosphere.
A Luxurious Line-up for the Night of July 18
The star battle will feature Zasko and Jaloner, two heavyweights of the national scene. As co-stars, Belico and Klan will measure their rhymes. The line-up is completed with the duels Sweet Pain vs Flops, Nocre vs Jado, Krisan vs Swit Eme, and Pirry vs Juanih South. Additionally, there will be a Crew War with Big Hooligans, LTNJ, Llobrerap Syndicate, Las Momias, and Rookies.
The event is organised by the Youth Delegation, alongside the entities FU and Loyal Souls. Lucía Camero highlighted that “freestyle has become one of the cultural expressions with the greatest following among youth, combining improvisation, creativity, music, and respect.” The councillor emphasised that the City Council continues to bet on a “modern, participatory, and adapted youth offer that meets the interests of our young people.”
A Public Space Turned Stage
The Innova Skate Park, a regular spot for skaters and young people, will transform into an improvised outdoor auditorium. The idea is for attendees to enjoy the battles in a relaxed and close-knit environment. “We want our young people to find in Benalmádena a lively municipality, with activities throughout the year and spaces to develop their cultural and artistic interests,” Camero stated.
The choice of the Skate Park is not coincidental: freestyle and skate share that street essence and individual skill. For locals, it is an opportunity to see live figures that are usually only seen in videos or at large festivals. And all, without paying a euro.
FU Benalmádena has established itself as one of the emerging reference formats in Spanish urban culture. The organisation adapts each event to the city’s environment, creating a unique experience between artists and the audience. In this edition, the City Council hopes to surpass last year’s success, when the event already filled the venue.
For the young people of Benalmádena and the entire Costa del Sol, the event is doubly attractive: not only will they be able to see their idols, but they will also be able to participate in parallel activities that will be announced soon. The councillor has encouraged locals, visitors, and especially the youth of the municipality, not to miss this free proposal.
The City Council of Benalmádena, governed by Juan Antonio Lara, thus reaffirms its commitment to a diverse, innovative, and quality youth programme. With initiatives like FU, the municipality consolidates itself as a reference in hosting activities linked to urban culture and new artistic trends. The date, July 18, promises to be a night to remember.
