Málaga, 14 August 2026. Alcampo will inaugurate its first supermarket in Andalucía, located in the Altos del Higuerón Shopping Centre in Benalmádena. This opening, scheduled for late 2026, represents a significant advancement for the company, which has been present in Andalucía since 1989.
The new establishment, operating under the Alcampo Supermercado brand, will feature a sales area of 1,200 square metres and employ 40 people. This space will focus on fresh products, offering butcher, fishmonger, bakery, prepared dishes, deli, and cheese counters, as well as an exclusive wine cellar.
Details about the opening
The range available in the new supermarket will combine breadth and variety of brands, allowing customers to make both everyday purchases and meet more specific needs. The hours will be from 9:00 to 22:00, and there will be an online shopping option with pickup at refrigerated lockers.
The supermarket will be integrated into the offerings of the Altos del Higuerón Shopping Centre, which has parking for over a hundred vehicles and a variety of establishments including a pharmacy, dental clinic, and real estate agency, among others.
