Yolan Postigo wins the first prize of the young Current Music showcase MálagaCrea 2026, worth 2,200 euros. Lucy May and Lavanda complete the podium with 1,500 and 900 euros, respectively.
The delegated councillor for Youth, Mercedes Martín, attended on Saturday night the final session of the young Current Music showcase MálagaCrea 2026 and the subsequent award ceremony, held at the municipal auditorium Eduardo Ocón.
The first prize, worth 2,200 euros, has been awarded to Yolan Postigo. The podium has been completed by Lucy May and Lavanda, who received 1,500 and 900 euros, respectively.
The jury also recognised Nohe, Sara Martos, and Jirafa Rey with special mentions.
The final phase of this edition included four free concerts during September at the Eduardo Ocón auditorium, in addition to another 14 free performances by young Málaga artists through the Festijoven cycle, which started in August.
“The showcase has brought together young Málaga artists in a free programme throughout the summer,” noted Mercedes Martín during the award ceremony.
The competition, organised by the Málaga City Council through the Youth department, continues its commitment to promoting emerging musicians from the city.
