The Málaga City Council reminds us that its free collection of stickers for the Fair, created by local artist José Luis Puche, is now available. It includes everything from the cover of Cortijo de Torres to the fishing cartridge of pescaíto frito.
This Wednesday, the Málaga City Council reminded fair enthusiasts that they can download the official collection of themed stickers for free, an initiative that started last year and is available again for the August festivities. The collection, created by Málaga artist José Luis Puche, is designed to add a touch of Málaga identity to WhatsApp conversations during the main days.
Among the included designs, the cover of Cortijo de Torres, the popular biznaga, the verdiales, the night of fireworks, and classics like the fishing cartridge of pescaíto frito or dressing as a flamenca to attend the fair stand out. In total, there are about ten stickers aimed at reflecting the spirit of the celebration.
To install them, simply access the link sticker.ly/s/5BHOHO from your mobile and press the blue button “Get Stickers”. The system redirects to download the sticker.ly app from the App Store or Google Play, although it is not necessary to create an account or subscribe: the download is completely free.
Once the app is installed, you need to press “Add to WhatsApp” and the complete collection will automatically download in the sticker section of the messaging app. The process takes no more than a couple of minutes and is designed so that any user can use them during the fair, which this year takes place from August 14 to 23.
The initiative, promoted by the City Council's Festival Department, aims to bring Málaga's tradition to digital platforms and was well received during its launch last year. With this new edition, the City Council hopes that the stickers will become an additional complement to the celebration, both for those who experience the fair in the streets and for those who follow it from afar.
