The draw on Wednesday, August 19, will feature the image of the illuminated entrance of the Málaga Fair on the five million coupons distributed by ONCE across Spain.
ONCE has chosen the Málaga Fair as the image for the Daily Coupon on Wednesday, August 19, during the major celebrations of the capital, which this year take place from August 15 to 22. The coupon will display the illuminated entrance of the fairgrounds, with a woman holding a flower as a symbol of the deep-rooted nature of this celebration among the people of Málaga.
The director of ONCE in Málaga, Marcelo Rosado, and the vice president of the Territorial Council, Leonor Basallote, presented the image of the coupon on Monday at an event held in the Hall of Mirrors at the Málaga City Hall, alongside the mayor, Francisco de la Torre.
Rosado, who expressed pride as a local to highlight the festivities of his city, emphasized that the Fair is "the major event of the summer for any Málaga resident and increasingly a symbol of the city, recognizable even beyond our borders." The director added that ONCE wants to "join the celebration with the icon of this house, our coupon, and showcase the Fair throughout Spain."
For his part, the mayor stressed that this coupon represents "an important national promotion for the Málaga Fair", one of the most prominent summer events in Spain. De la Torre thanked ONCE for frequently focusing on the city and recalled previous coupons dedicated to Calle Larios, the Botanical-Historical Garden of La Concepción, or the painter Félix Revello de Toro.
The ONCE Daily Coupon offers a prize of €500,000 for the number and series, as well as 49 prizes of €35,000 for the five digits of the winning number. Additionally, there are 450 prizes of €250 for the first or last four digits, 9,000 prizes of €25 for the first or last three digits, and refunds of €2 for the first or last digit.
Residents of Málaga and visitors who wish to take home a souvenir from the Fair can purchase this coupon at ONCE sales points starting from the days leading up to the draw. The illuminated entrance, one of the most photographed icons of the festival, will be the star of a ticket that will travel across the country.
