The town of Málaga hosts the XIII edition of the Andalucía Local Audiovisual Communication Awards. The Junta of Andalucía has announced the call for these awards, aimed at celebrating excellence in audiovisual communication services in the region.

The deadline for submitting applications is September 14, 2026. Through the Official Bulletin of the Junta of Andalucía (BOJA), this initiative has been made public, which seeks to recognise talent in the local sphere.

Categories and financial endowment

The awards are divided into six categories, each with a grant of 4,000 euros. The categories include: Best programme or series of information broadcast on local Television, Best programme or series of information on local Radio, Best programme or series of entertainment on local Television, Best programme or series of entertainment on local Radio, Best local and proximity information in Web format, and Local and Proximity informative trajectory.

The awards ceremony will take place in the last quarter of the year, and a statuette will be awarded to the winners in each category.

Procedure to participate

The application submission process will be open from September 1 to 14, 2026. Interested individuals and entities must send their works to the Ministry of the Presidency, Health and Emergencies, within the General Directorate of Social Communication. Applications can be submitted through the Unique Electronic Registry of the Administration of the Junta of Andalucía.
