The City Council of Málaga held a support event for Ceuta, with the flag of the autonomous city waving on the steps of the council. The initiative comes from the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces.

The mayor of Málaga, Francisco de la Torre, participated this Friday alongside other councillors from the government team in an institutional event of support and solidarity with the citizens of Ceuta. The call was promoted by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces and the Andalusian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces.

On the occasion of Ceuta Day, the City Council wanted to publicly express its support for the residents of the autonomous city in light of the serious events affecting security, coexistence, and normality. The event took place on the steps of the council, where the flag of Ceuta was flying.

During the event, the same declaration that has been announced in the autonomous city was read. The reading of the manifesto was carried out by the Ceuta native residing in Málaga, Montse Blanco, who is the driving force behind the initiative ‘We are not alone, I am also Ceuta’, which has publicly shown its commitment to the city and its residents for weeks.
