Málaga Provincial Council repeats this year with its bullfighting discussions at the Fair, with two cycles open to the public. The first starts on August 10 and the second will be broadcast live by EsRadio.
Málaga Provincial Council continues to bet on conversation as a complement to the festivities of the Málaga Fair. For the second consecutive year, the provincial institution is organising two cycles of bullfighting discussions that will take place between August 10 and 22, with free entry until full capacity is reached.
The first of the cycles, named Tertulias del Irlandés, will be linked to the International Bullfighting Schools Competition of La Malagueta. It will take place from August 10 to 13, at the end of each of the festivities, at the Candem Town Pub, a venue located near the bullring.
These meetings will be led by journalists Germán Estela and Dani Herrera, and will feature the participation of the novice bullfighters of each day, as well as teachers and representatives from some of the most prominent bullfighting schools. The initiative is supported by the Provincial Bullfighting School of the Provincial Council, ESTAUMA.
The second cycle, called Tertulias de la Diputación, will be held from August 14 to 22 in the lounge of the Hotel Elíseos, on Paseo de Reding. Presented by Germán Estela, it will bring together bullfighters, breeders, and key professionals in the bullfighting scene, alongside authoritative voices from the current bullfighting sphere.
This second block will also feature live broadcasting through EsRadio, from 12:30 to 14:00, which will expand the reach of these meetings and bring their content to a larger number of fans during the central days of the Fair.
In both cases, the discussions will have free entry until full capacity is reached, aiming to facilitate public participation and establish these spaces as a reference meeting point within the bullfighting programme of the Málaga Fair.
With this initiative, Málaga Provincial Council reinforces its commitment to promoting bullfighting, supporting the Provincial Bullfighting School, and preserving a cultural tradition linked to conversation, analysis, and coexistence between professionals and fans.
