The shows and performances scheduled by the City Council during the Málaga Fair have received more than 951,000 visits. The municipal balance confirms the success of an edition that has filled the city's spaces.

The Málaga Fair has concluded its edition with a participation balance that exceeds all expectations: the shows and performances organized by the Department of Operational Services and Festivals have gathered more than 951,000 visits at the various stages distributed throughout the city.

The Málaga City Council announced on Monday the attendance figures, which confirm the appeal of a programme designed for all audiences. The tourist information offices and points have assisted more than 20,000 people, a figure that reflects visitors' interest in the festive and cultural offerings of the capital.

The municipal museums, as well as the Alcazaba and Gibralfaro, have surpassed 60,000 visitors during the fair days. The historical heritage has once again been one of the major attractions for those who have taken advantage of the festivities to explore the city.

The 'Sport at the Fair' programme has managed to gather 2,000 people in the organized sports activities, while 'El Rengue' has welcomed more than 5,000 seniors from the 11 districts of the city. Both initiatives confirm the municipal effort to offer alternatives for all ages.

The digital impact has also been notable: the social media of the Málaga City Council have accumulated 6.7 million views and more than 188,000 interactions during the festive period. A figure that evidences the reach of a fair that transcends the physical.

With these numbers, the council considers it has achieved the goal of a varied and accessible programme, which has turned Málaga into a hub of attraction during its grand days. The next festive event is already on the calendar, aiming to maintain and surpass these records.
