The Málaga Fair 2026 kicks off this Friday, August 14, with a drone show and a pyromusical display along the coast. It will be broadcast live on 101TV and other channels.
The night of Friday, August 14, will mark the official start of the Málaga Fair 2026 with a double spectacle along the coast. Starting at 23:50, 440 drones will light up the sky for 10 minutes from the Dique de Levante and the San Andrés area, forming 14 three-dimensional figures at a height of 100 meters.
At midnight, Pirotecnia Zaragozana will launch a 20-minute pyromusical display from the access road to the cruise terminal, featuring 500 kilos of gunpowder and 5,694 effects synchronized with music. The show will be available to watch live through a special broadcast on 101TV, which will start at 22:30 with a preview of the atmosphere along the coast.
The signal will be available on TDT at the usual frequency of 101TV Málaga, on the website 101TV.es, on the 101TV Play app for mobile and Smart TV, and via streaming on YouTube and the channel's social media.
For those who prefer to experience it in person, the Málaga City Council recommends some key viewing points. The beaches of La Malagueta and San Andrés/Huelin offer the best view of the drone show, while Muelle Uno and the Palmeral de las Sorpresas are ideal for the pyromusical display. The Antonio Banderas promenade provides ample space, and the viewpoints of Gibralfaro, La Coracha, and Monte Victoria allow for a complete panorama of the bay.
Mobility will be an important aspect to consider. The City Council advises arriving early and prioritizing public transport, such as EMT buses and the Málaga Metro, which will have reinforcements and special schedules during the opening night.
