The night of August 14 will mark the beginning of the Málaga Fair 2026 with a display of 440 drones and a fireworks castle. 101TV will broadcast the show live from 10:30 PM.
The Málaga Fair 2026 will kick off in the early hours of Friday, August 14, with a double spectacle that will combine technology and pyrotechnics. A display of 440 drones over the port and a pyromusical castle with more than 5,600 shots will signal the start of the festivities, which this year can be followed live on 101TV.
The broadcast will begin at 10:30 PM via TDT, the website 101tv.es, and the 101TV Play app, and will also include content on social media. The broadcast will cover the two main moments of the night: the aerial choreography and the fireworks launch.
An aerial choreography over the port
The company Umiles Entertainment will be in charge of directing the 440 drones, which will fly simultaneously from the Dique de Levante and San Andrés. Each location will feature 220 devices, which will form 14 three-dimensional images visible from up to 500 meters away.
The drones will rise to about 100 meters in height, within a safety perimeter that will prevent them from flying over people. The display, which will last ten minutes, will include a chromatic capacity of up to 16 million shades to draw figures in the Málaga sky.
Fireworks after midnight
When the drones finish, the focus will shift to the pyrotechnics. Pirotecnia Zaragozana will launch a castle from the access road to the cruise terminal, with 5,694 shots and a gross weight of over one ton.
The pyromusical show will begin at midnight and will last twenty minutes. It will burn 500 kilos of gunpowder accompanied by nine musical tracks, including versions by Alex Christensen, Sergio Dalma, Rosa López, Owo, and Nancys Rubias, among others.
