Málaga Fair 2026 will kick off on August 15 with over 200 free shows. Antonio Carmona, David DeMaría, and Paloma San Basilio are among the highlighted names.
Málaga Fair 2026, which will be held from August 15 to 22, will feature more than 200 free shows spread across the Real de Cortijo de Torres and the Historic Centre. The musical programme, presented by the City Council, includes artists such as Antonio Carmona, David DeMaría, Diana Navarro, Medina Azahara, and Paloma San Basilio.
The festivities will begin on the evening of Friday the 14th with the Historical Parade, which will depart at 20:00 from Plaza de la Merced. The procession will deliver the keys to the city at Plaza de la Aduana at 20:30, and the day will conclude with a drone show at the Port and a fireworks display at midnight.
Saturday the 15th will start with the Pilgrimage of the Virgin of Victory, departing at 11:00 from Paseo del Parque. That evening, the opening speech will be given by Juanfran Funes, coach of Málaga CF, and the lighting of the Real will take place at 21:30.
The Municipal Auditorium of the Real will host the main performances, all with free entry. Diana Navarro will open on Saturday the 15th, and on Sunday the 16th it will be David DeMaría's turn. On Tuesday the 18th, Medina Azahara will perform, preceded by Tabletom, and on Wednesday the 19th, Nancys Rubias and Hoffman will take the stage.
The final stretch will concentrate two of the most anticipated events: Antonio Carmona will perform on Friday the 21st at 22:30, and Paloma San Basilio will close the fair on Saturday the 22nd at the same time.
Flamenco will have a daily presence at the Flamenco and Copla Municipal Booth and at Peña Juan Breva, featuring artists such as Gema Garcés and Pepe de Campillos. The VII Flamenco Dance Festival of Málaga Schools and the final of the XIX Spanish Song Contest will also take place.
The verdiales will sound every night at the Cortijo de Torres booth from 22:00 to 03:00, and there will be daily performances on Calle Larios from 13:00 to 17:00 with groups like San Isidro de Periana or Raíces de Almogía.
Among the new features is the 30th edition of the Magic Fair, dedicated to children and families, with two spaces in the Real. The complete programme is available on the municipal website, and all activities are free of charge.
