The Málaga Fair offers a full day on Saturday, 22nd August with verdiales, flamenco, the 150th anniversary bullfight at La Malagueta, and Paloma San Basilio's gala.

The Málaga Fair celebrates its day on Saturday, 22nd August with music, flamenco, bullfighting, and equestrian shows. Highlights include the 150th anniversary bullfight at La Malagueta and the gala of Paloma San Basilio.

On Saturday, 22nd August, the Málaga Fair presents a programme that spans from the Historic Centre to the Real, with offerings for all audiences. The day kicks off at noon with musical entertainment in the squares and continues until dawn with the verdiales festival.

In the Plaza de la Constitución, Carlos Bravo performs from 13:00 to 16:00 and Silverio Soto from 16:00 to 18:00. The squares of Las Flores, del Obispo, and de San Pedro Alcántara offer varied musical entertainment from 15:00 to 18:00.

The calle Marqués de Larios hosts the Fiesta de Verdiales with the Panda Montes de Guadalmedina (Montes style) from 13:00 to 16:00 and the Panda San Lorenzo Mártir (Almogía style) from 14:00 to 17:00. At the Folklore Popular Malagueño Stage, from 12:00 to 14:00, the choirs Cantares de Andalucía, Las Flores de Santa Paula, and Coro Agua Marina perform; at 17:00, Maragatas Asociación Jazmín takes the stage.

The Peña Juan Breva, located at calle Ramón Franquelo 4, features a performance by Pepe de Campillos at 15:00 with Andrés Cansino on guitar. At 16:30, the Flamenco Group 'Alboreá' led by José Lucena will perform.

The Plaza de la Merced hosts from 12:00 to 15:30 the children's programme 'From the Earth to the Moon. 30th Anniversary', featuring games, workshops, theatre, puppets, parades, magic, and music. Companies participating include Acuario Teatro, La Pili, Vibra Alto, Mago Luigi, La Carpa Teatro, DDQ Kias Eventos, Artrasto, Crystal Zircus, Manolo Supertramp, La Tremenda Compañía, Sésamo Teatro, Tenguerengue, Acuario Musical, Diamante y Rubí, and Alberto Díaz de la Quintana.

At the Plaza de Toros La Malagueta, at 19:00, the 150th Anniversary bullfight takes place featuring bulls from Torrealta and Garcigrande for Morante de la Puebla, Roca Rey, and David de Miranda.

In the Real de la Feria, the Paseo de Enganches y Caballos maintains its official route from 12:00 to 20:00. The Municipal Flamenco and Copla Tent features Chelo Soto with Carlos Haro and the group 'Seguirillas' by Antonio Soto at 14:00; at 23:00, Rosa Linero performs with Francis Cerdán and singers Lola García and Rocío Alba.

The Equestrian Exhibition Centre, located at calle Antonio Rodríguez Sánchez 39, presents the show 'Málaga Dreams on Horseback' at 16:00 and 22:00. The Children's Municipal Tent presents the production 'The Journey of Tan Tan and Yiya' by Índigo Teatro at 21:30.

The Verdiales Tent celebrates the Málaga Verdiales Festival with the Panda Santa Catalina (Montes style) from 22:00 to 01:00 and the Panda Los Moras (Almogía style) from 00:00 to 03:00. The Municipal Auditorium hosts the Grand Gala with Paloma San Basilio at 22:30.
