The Málaga Fair 2026 bids farewell with a high-level discussion at the Araboka restaurant, where the double grand entry of Friday and the courage of Manuel Escribano were analysed.

The bullfighting cycle of the Málaga Fair 2026 has closed its programmes with a grand discussion at the Araboka restaurant, in the heart of the capital, behind the cathedral. The meeting, held this Saturday, brought together industry professionals to review one of the most historic weeks of bullfighting in the city.

The master Alfonso Mansilla, host of the MARCA Toros programmes, and commentator Vicente Ortega led the debate, which featured the bullfighter Fortes, who on Friday achieved a double grand entry alongside Emilio de Justo. Fortes, who is bullfighting in France this Sunday, shared impressions with fellow bullfighter Fernando Cámara, who attended with his daughter.

The discussion also served to evaluate the condition of Manuel Escribano, who, despite suffering a goring on Friday, remained in his performance. Doctor Juan Hermida detailed the injuries sustained by the bullfighter. Also present was Victorino Martín, breeder of the livestock that was fought that day, to analyse the behaviour of his bulls, which lived up to expectations.

The enthusiast Vizcaíno provided his view on the overall fair, which is regarded as one of the best experienced by the Málaga public and established in the top-5 nationally. The cycle is not yet over: the tribute bullfight for the 150 years of La Malagueta is still to come, featuring Morante de la Puebla, Roca Rey, and David de Miranda.

With this meeting, MARCA Toros concludes a week of analysis, debate, and art from the heart of the Costa del Sol capital.
