Harmony Sanctuary has presented Harmony Academy, a training school in massage therapy that will open its doors in Málaga, starting its first in-person groups in October 2026.
The academy arises after three years of activity in Málaga, Fuengirola and Torremolinos, during which more than 13,000 treatments have been carried out. Of these, 8,467 have taken place in Málaga, 3,513 in Fuengirola and 1,300 in Torremolinos.
Comprehensive and practical training
The training program offers 300 hours of content that includes 100 hours online, 136 hours in-person and 64 hours of supervised practice. Groups will be limited to eight students to ensure individualized attention.
The academy aims to transfer the experience gained in massage centres to the classroom, training therapists who can efficiently integrate into the job market. The training will also be available in English, facilitating access for the international community present in the region.
Professional and practical approach
Students will learn about anatomy, physiology and massage therapy techniques, as well as how to manage customer care and adapt to various needs. The supervised practices are designed for students to experience work realities from the start of their training.
The first groups will begin in October 2026 and the academy will complete the development of its training methodology based on the experience accumulated over these three years of operation in Málaga and surrounding areas.
