The First Vice President and Minister of Presidency, Health and Emergencies of the Junta de Andalucía, Antonio Sanz, has announced that the construction of the new Health Centre in Rincón de la Victoria will begin at the end of October or the beginning of November. The contract for the works has been signed with the company Constructora San José.
Project Details
The investment allocated for this new infrastructure amounts to nearly 15 million euros, with a planned execution period of 21 months. This construction will be financed through the Feder Funds of the 2021-2027 Framework of the European Union.
The new centre will have an area of 7,600 square metres, which represents a significant increase compared to the current health centre in the locality, being four times larger. It will also include an emergency service and will feature 44 new consultation rooms, as well as two multipurpose rooms and 10 paediatrics rooms.
Facilities and Sustainability
In addition to the mentioned services, the new centre will offer specialties such as Rehabilitation, Minor Surgery, Dentistry, Basic Radiology, and Mental Health. At the same time, there will be 61 parking spaces, storage rooms, changing rooms, and technical rooms.
Antonio Sanz highlighted that this infrastructure is the result of a joint and coordinated effort with the Town Hall, stating that it is a tangible reality thanks to this collaboration.
From an architectural perspective, the design of the building incorporates the Andalusian patio as a main structural element, which allows for the creation of pleasant waiting areas and access, in line with principles of sustainability and efficiency.
