The Junta de Andalucía has announced that from September 7 to October 7, the application period for the XX Andalucía Agriculture and Fishing Awards will be open. These awards aim to recognise the work of individuals and entities in the agricultural, fishing, and rural development sectors.
Awards Categories
This twentieth edition will award prizes in eight categories. Among them are sectoral awards for 'Agriculture' and 'Fishing'. Additionally, initiatives in the areas of 'Quality Promotion' and 'Innovative Initiative', which promote innovation and sustainability in the agricultural and fishing sectors, will be recognised.
Categories such as 'Communication and Rural World', which reward dissemination related to the sector, and 'Women’s Initiative', aimed at highlighting the role of women in economic diversification and entrepreneurship, are also included. Finally, the award for 'Water Efficiency and Commitment' will value efforts in innovation and efficient water use.
