Alhaurín de la Torre hosts the 5th edition of Literalh on 18th and 19th September. Andrés Trapiello, Clara Sánchez and Víctor del Árbol will feature in talks at La Platea.
The cultural event Literalh will celebrate its fifth edition in Alhaurín de la Torre on 18th and 19th September at the cultural centre La Platea, with the presence of writers Andrés Trapiello, Clara Sánchez and Víctor del Árbol. The mayor, Joaquín Villanova, and the councillor for Culture, Manuel López, presented the programme, which they described as being of "the highest level".
The official inauguration will take place on Friday 18th at 18:00. The three authors will converse with journalist Moisés Rodríguez. On the same Friday, at 19:00, Trapiello will have his meeting; on Saturday 19th, it will be Víctor del Árbol's turn at 18:30 and Clara Sánchez at 19:45. The programme includes a photography exhibition, musical performances, and book signings.
The councillor for Culture encouraged locals and visitors to participate in this event, which he defined as a "literary festival" and a "cultural event that is in very good health". Mar Ortiz, from Eme de Mar Gestión Cultural, announced that there will be "surprises" and thanked the collaboration of the Conservatorio Superior de Danza de Málaga 'Ángel Pericet' and Alba LaMerced, who will provide the musical touch.
The Municipal Library 'Antonio Garrido Moraga' will prepare a selection of works by the three writers for its readers, as revealed by its responsible technician, Rocío Serrán.
