The Mobile ID-Passport Team from the Provincial Police Station of Málaga will be available on October 8 in the Constitution Square, from 10:00 to 13:00. Appointments can be requested from September 24 by calling 952 40 23 00.
Residents of Rincón de la Victoria will be able to process their National Identity Document (DNI) and Passport without leaving the municipality on October 8. The Mobile ID-Passport Team from the Provincial Police Station of Málaga will be set up in the Constitution Square, at the corner of Ronda Street and Sierra de las Nieves Street, and will operate in the morning from 10:00 to 13:00.
Appointments can be made starting from September 24 by calling 952 40 23 00, until the available slots are filled. Service will be provided between 10:00 and 13:00, according to the schedule set by the National Police. A quota will be reserved for people with disabilities or reduced mobility.
The mayor, Francisco Salado, has stated that this initiative brings services closer to residents and avoids travel:
“We thank the National Police for their collaboration in bringing this mobile unit back to our municipality, as happened last year. This initiative particularly facilitates procedures for those who, for various reasons, have greater difficulties in travelling outside Rincón de la Victoria.”
The councillor for Internal Affairs, Pepi Carnero, has urged interested parties to request their appointment in advance and to check the necessary documentation beforehand to avoid issues. Each appointment corresponds to a single procedure and one citizen, meaning that those needing both an ID and a Passport must request two separate appointments.
Payment of fees can be made in cash or by card. Although the mobile unit's vehicles are equipped with card readers, it is recommended to bring cash. For photographs, all procedures require one to be provided, except for duplicates of ID due to theft, loss, or damage, and renewals that involve a change of address.
In the case of minors, only one parent needs to be present for the ID. Both parents must attend for the Passport and sign the authorisation in person. If the appointment time prevents one of them from attending due to work commitments, they can sign their part in the VIDOC from its opening.
The Town Hall recommends checking the requirements on the official website www.dnielectronico.es. The mobile unit operates under the collaboration agreement between the Town Council and the General Directorate of the National Police.
Additionally, the municipality has a Documentation Update Post (PAD) at the Citizen Attention Service (SAC) office, next to the SAE point, where electronic certificates of the ID can be renewed for free and access passwords can be changed.
