The Rincón de la Victoria Town Hall is expanding the service of line M-428 with departures from 13:15 and returns until 06:00 to facilitate access to the Málaga Fair.
The Rincón de la Victoria Town Hall has launched a special public transport operation for the Málaga Fair, which takes place from August 15 to 22. The M-428 line, managed by the Metropolitan Transport Consortium of the Málaga Area and the concessionary company Avanza, will have reinforcements in its services to connect the municipality with the fairgrounds.
The first departures from Rincón de la Victoria, at the Rinconsol stop, will take place from 13:15 hours, passing through La Cala del Moral at 13:20 and arriving at the fairgrounds at 14:10. Services will continue throughout the afternoon and early morning, with returns from the Fair until 06:00 hours, with an expected arrival back in the municipality at 07:00.
The route includes stops at various points in Rincón de la Victoria and La Cala del Moral, as well as connections with La Araña and El Candado. On the return journey, the bus will also stop at Gran Sol, IES Bezmiliana, Plaza Costa del Sol, La Vaguada, Lo Cea, and Ceuta and Melilla, facilitating access to different areas of the municipality.
The Councillor for Mobility and Transport, Pablo Pardini, highlighted that “the Town Hall continues to bet on strengthening public transport during times when mobility significantly increases, as happens during the Málaga Fair.”
For his part, the mayor, Francisco Salado, emphasized that this measure “facilitates the mobility of our residents and contributes to a more accessible, safe, and sustainable Málaga Fair.” The mayor insisted that “any resident who wants to attend the Fair can do so with peace of mind, leaving the car at home and relying on a bus service that allows them to return to Rincón de la Victoria at any hour of the early morning.”
The single ticket costs €2.50, while with the Transport Card the cost starts from €1.50, depending on the number of stops on the route. All information on schedules and fares is available on the consortium's website, www.ctmam.es.
Additionally, users of line M168 (Búho) will maintain their usual summer schedule during the days of the Fair, with service extensions on Fridays, Saturdays, and the eve of public holidays.
