Antequera CF will start the 2026-2027 season at El Maulí against Ibiza on the weekend of 29 and 30 August. The subscription campaign offers a 20% discount to residents of municipalities in the region.
The Antequera Football Club has already defined its path in the Primera RFEF for the 2026-2027 season. The white-and-green team, which competes in Group 2, will debut at home on the weekend of 29 and 30 August against Ibiza at the El Maulí stadium. The regular league will conclude on 23 May as visitors against Atlético Madrileño.
2026-2027 Season Schedule
After the first match against Ibiza, fans will see teams such as Alcorcón, Real Jaén, Cartagena, Real Murcia, Rayo Majadahonda, Juventud de Torremolinos, Europa, Águilas, and Atlético Madrileño in Antequera, with the first half concluding on 10 January 2027.
As visitors, Antequera will begin their journey on 5 and 6 September at the Real Zaragoza ground. The following trips will be against Villarreal B, Sant Andreu, Real Madrid Castilla (on 18 October), Huesca, Algeciras, Hércules, Nàstic de Tarragona, and Teruel, the latter being the first match of 2027.
The second half will start on 17 January and, a week later, Antequera will visit Real Jaén. One of the most anticipated matches will be the visit of Real Madrid Castilla to El Maulí on 24 January. The schedule has arranged for the rivals that are likely to fight for promotion to concentrate in the final stretch: Real Murcia, Ibiza, Europa, Nàstic, and Atlético Madrileño will be the last hurdles.
Reinforcements and Departures in the Squad
Antequera, managed by Abraham Paz, has announced several signings. Notably, the return of local player Isra and the arrival of left-back Julio Martínez, from Guadalajara, who has experience in Primera RFEF and was trained in the youth academies of Real Madrid and Deportivo Alavés. In terms of renewals, Juan Aspra and Javi Antón will continue to be key players, while Samu Pérez is recovering from a knee injury.
In terms of departures, Raúl Albentosa, David Ramos, Iván Rodríguez, Marcelo Dos Santos, and Antonio Luna finished their contracts in June. Subsequently, Edu Sánchez, Félix Garreta, Osama Chit, and Osama Siddiki joined, with the latter saying goodbye after two seasons in Antequera. The club retains contracts with Adrià Gené, Moi Parra, Destiny, Luismi Gutiérrez, Rafa Diz, Raúl Giménez, Alberto Quintana, and the loaned players Luis Ruiz, Isaac García, and Drake.
One of the standout names is Moha Bassèle, who is being eyed by Córdoba and Granada, who would need to pay his clause of 500,000 euros. Offers have been declined by Antequera, which is open to foreign teams.
The pre-season will kick off with the Trofeo Ciudad del Torcal on Friday 14 August at 20:00 hours in El Maulí against Real Jaén.
Subscription Campaign with Regional Discount
The club has launched its subscription campaign for the new season with a 20% discount for residents of municipalities in the Antequera region, presenting a certificate of residence. Prices range from 20 euros in preference for children aged 5 to 14 years to 240 euros in the covered grandstand plus. The renewal of subscriptions will be open until 15 July.
This initiative aims to rebuild the bond with the region, one of the foundations of the club's youth academy, to make Antequera a reference team beyond the city. Fans from towns such as Alameda, Mollina, or Humilladero will be able to benefit from this advantage.
Antequera hopes that the fans will respond and fill El Maulí at every match, especially for the debut against Ibiza. Interested parties can formalise their subscription at the club's offices or through the official website.
