CEM and ACIA are organising a training day on artificial intelligence on July 22 at the San Zoilo Library, aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises in Antequera.
The Confederation of Business Owners of Málaga (CEM) and the Association of Commerce, Businesses and Industry of Antequera (ACIA) have organised a new training day on artificial intelligence aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises. The event will take place on July 22 at the Municipal Library of San Zoilo and aims to demonstrate how these tools can improve productivity and optimise the daily work of any business.
From assistant to agent: the course content
The course, titled "Advanced AI: from assistant to agent", will run from 9:00 to 11:00 and will be taught by Isaac Morán, a consultant specialised in digital transformation and business automation. During the session, practical demonstrations and real application examples of artificial intelligence in various business areas will be provided.
Among the planned content are the evolution of AI, the functioning of so-called intelligent agents, process automation and its integration with commonly used tools such as email, spreadsheets, calendars, or cloud storage platforms. Practical cases related to customer service, administration, marketing, sales, document management, and information analysis will also be addressed.
"Artificial intelligence is no longer the future, it is the present. We want SMEs in Antequera to know firsthand how they can apply it to be more competitive," the organisers explain.
Free registration and limited places
Participation is free, although prior registration is required through a form provided by the organisation. This initiative is part of the collaboration between the Acelera Pyme Office of CEM and ACIA, which previously allowed for a first event in April to bring artificial intelligence closer to the business fabric of Antequera and expand the support services that associated companies receive.
For local entrepreneurs, this training represents an opportunity to update their knowledge at no cost and in the morning, adapted to the working day. The San Zoilo Library, located in the heart of Antequera, will welcome attendees in an accessible and well-connected environment.
CEM reminds that digitalisation is key to the survival of small businesses, and that AI can assist with diverse tasks such as drafting emails, managing inventories, or automated customer service. "It's not about replacing people, but about freeing up time for what really matters," they point out.
The course is part of a broader programme to support business digitalisation in the province of Málaga, which includes personalised advice and other training actions. Interested parties can reserve their place through the ACIA website or the Acelera Pyme Office of CEM.
With this initiative, Antequera positions itself at the forefront of business training in the province, offering its SMEs tools that until recently seemed reserved for large corporations. And all, with the mid-morning coffee included — or at least, with the satisfaction of having invested two hours in the future of the business.
