The City Council of Antequera will join the call from the FEMP with a rally in the Constitution Square next Wednesday, September 2 at 20:00, in support of Ceuta and its citizens.
The City Council of Antequera will join next Wednesday September 2 the call promoted by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) in support and solidarity with the Autonomous City of Ceuta and its citizens.
The rally will take place at 20:00 in the Constitution Square, near the Guardia Civil Headquarters and next to the Puerta de Estepa, under the slogan “Together for Ceuta from Antequera”. The initiative coincides with the celebration of Ceuta Day.
The call comes from the FEMP after a visit to the Autonomous City by its president, María José García-Pelayo, who met with the Ceuta president, Juan Vivas, to discuss the situation in the city following the events that occurred on July 30 and 31.
The mayor of Antequera, Manolo Barón, has expressed his solidarity with the people of Ceuta, highlighting Ceuta as a city deeply linked to Spain, proud of its uniqueness and committed to the values of coexistence, respect, and solidarity.
With this rally, Antequera joins the collective support of Spanish municipalities for Ceuta, advocating for the values of unity, coexistence, and solidarity and showing its closeness to all citizens of the Autonomous City.
