The luxury brand LOEWE Perfumes arrives on the Costa del Sol with its 'Ice Cream Bar', a multisensory experience inspired by the new Pistachio scented candle. Marbella and Málaga are two of the six stops on this summer tour.

The aroma of pistachio, vanilla, and nuts will fill the Costa del Sol starting this Monday. LOEWE Perfumes has chosen Marbella and Málaga as two of the six stops for its 'Ice Cream Bar', an experience that fuses perfumery and artisan ice cream. The initiative, which started on July 3 in Barcelona, arrives in the Málaga province to offer the public a sensory journey.

The METT Hotel Marbella will host the event on July 7, 8, and 9, from 12:00 to 14:00 and from 15:00 to 22:00. Afterwards, the 'Ice Cream Bar' will move to Muelle Uno in Málaga from July 10 to 12, from 15:00 to 22:00. Entry is free, although capacity is limited.

A journey from scent to taste

The experience is born from the collaboration between LOEWE Perfumes and the ice cream masters of Hijos de Nata, a Madrid-based artisan workshop. Together they have created a series of ice creams and sorbets that bring the character of the LOEWE Pistachio scented candle into the realm of flavour. The result, according to the brand, is a exploration of the connection between aroma, taste, and Spanish essence.

The Pistachio candle, launched this year, is part of LOEWE's Home Scents collection. Its fragrance is creamy and gourmand, with milky and vanilla notes that become more enveloping when lit. The container is made of vibrant green glazed terracotta, inspired by a cup from the 5th century BC, and is made in Spain with natural wax and cotton wicks.

Attendees will be able to taste exclusive creations such as a silky-textured pistachio ice cream or a sorbet that evokes the candle's aroma. The experience is free and no reservation is needed, although the organisers recommend arriving early to avoid queues.

The summer of candles and ice creams

This is not the first time a luxury brand has opted for ephemeral experiences on the Costa del Sol. Last summer, other fashion and perfume brands set up pop-ups in Marbella and Málaga. But LOEWE wanted to take it a step further: to combine the tradition of artisan ice cream with the sophistication of its fragrances.

The 'Ice Cream Bar' has already passed through Barcelona and, after its stop in the Málaga province, will continue its route to Mallorca (Four Seasons Resort, from July 14 to 16), Formentera (Gecko Hotel & Beach Club, from July 17 to 19), and Ibiza (Es Fumeral, from July 20 to 22). In total, six destinations in just three weeks.

For pistachio lovers and those curious about the LOEWE universe, the event is a double opportunity: first in Marbella, then in the capital. The schedule in Málaga is only in the afternoon, while in Marbella there is also a morning session. A chance to cool off with an ice cream that smells like a designer candle.
