The Argentine model and entrepreneur Evangelina Anderson celebrated her birthday in Marbella, where she lived years ago, with a family lunch overlooking the Mediterranean.
Evangelina Anderson blew out the candles this Wednesday, July 23, in Marbella, the city that was her home during her time with footballer Martín Demichelis. The model and television panelist, who turns 46, celebrated with an outdoor lunch at a restaurant by the sea, accompanied by her parents, her three sisters, and two of her three children.
In the images she shared on her social media, she appears wearing a golden crown with the inscription “Happy Birthday” and sunglasses, while holding table sparklers and a slice of cake with a candle. The setting, with palm trees and white umbrellas, reflected an intimate yet well-kept atmosphere.
The day began in a special way for the Argentine. As she recounted in a live connection with the show Cortá por Lozano (Telefe), she woke up to find her father drinking mate on the terrace. Shortly after, her daughters arrived with balloons and gifts. “I’m here with all my family, so I’m enjoying a lot, I couldn’t ask for more,” she declared.
One of the most emotional surprises came from her daughter Lola De Michelis, who posted a story on her Instagram account with three photographs that reviewed the history of mother and daughter: from a first moment after birth to a recent image at an event. The message read: “Happy birthday mum,” accompanied by two pink hearts.
Evangelina, who temporarily resides in Marbella during the European summer, has just travelled through Sardinia and Turkey, but chose the Costa del Sol to celebrate her birthday. The city holds special significance for her: she lived there during the years Demichelis played for Málaga CF, and her three children, Bastian, Lola, and Emma, grew up there.
In the television interview, the model was candid about how she faces the passage of time. “It depresses me a bit to turn a year older,” she confessed, although she clarified that she always celebrates with family. “Today I woke up and thought: what a blessing to wake up with my dad, my mum, my sisters, my children,” she added.
She also spoke about her sentimental situation. After two decades in a relationship with Demichelis, Anderson claims she has not rebuilt her life as a couple. “I know myself better, I know more what I like, it’s being with myself. That’s why I’m alone,” she explained. When asked by the panel about a possible ideal candidate, she joked that she wouldn’t mind financially supporting someone, but that she prioritises her own self-knowledge.
The celebration in Marbella reinforces the Anderson-Demichelis family's bond with the province of Málaga. Although the Argentine footballer no longer resides in the city, the model maintains emotional and social ties in the area, where she spends long periods each summer.
The live connection with the Argentine show ended with applause from the studio and good wishes from her colleagues. Evangelina, visibly emotional, thanked everyone for their affection and assured that she would spend the rest of the day with her loved ones, enjoying the sun and sea of the Costa del Sol.
