Venezuelan artists Danny Ocean and Elena Rose dedicated their performances at Starlite Occident Marbella to the victims of the earthquakes in their country. The singer will donate all the profits from his European tour to those affected.
Music once again demonstrated its solidarity power at Starlite Occident Marbella. Danny Ocean and Elena Rose transformed their concerts at the festival into an international call for support for the victims of the recent earthquakes in Venezuela. The event, held at the Auditorium and Lounge of the venue, mobilised thousands of attendees in an evening that combined emotion and social commitment.
Danny Ocean, Venezuelan reggaeton and pop singer, announced that he will allocate all the profits obtained from his tour in Europe to help those affected by the double earthquake in Venezuela. During his concert, the artist addressed the audience to remember the victims and thank the support of international rescue teams, with a special mention to Spain.
Thank you, Spain, for your solidarity and for sending your rescuers. I ask for a big round of applause for all those people who continue to work on the ground: volunteers, emergency teams, and rescuers who are saving lives. This concert is dedicated to the victims, to their families, and to my Venezuelan brothers. I want you to know that you are not alone. We have each other, the artist expressed before an engaged audience.
The Foundation Behind the Festival
The initiative found a natural ally in Starlite Occident. Long before becoming one of the most prestigious boutique festivals in the world, Sandra García-Sanjuán launched the Starlite Foundation with the conviction that culture could be a force capable of transforming lives. Seventeen years later, that purpose continues to define the essence of the project.
I always knew I wanted to create a project with purpose. A project where music not only moved people but also served to help, unite people, and generate a positive impact in the world. Actions like those of Danny Ocean and Elena Rose represent exactly the values on which we built Starlite, highlighted Sandra García-Sanjuán, CEO of Grupo Starlite and Starlite Foundation.
Starlite Occident joined the solidarity initiative by putting its platform at the service of a fundraising campaign aimed at World Central Kitchen and Hogar Bambi Venezuela, organisations that provide assistance to those affected by the disaster. Attendees were able to contribute through direct donations during the evening.
Elena Rose and Her Intimate Solidarity Concert
After Danny Ocean's performance, fellow Venezuelan artist Elena Rose surprised the audience with an intimate concert in the Lounge, one of the most special dates of her first European tour. Her impeccable live performance, marked by a unique sensitivity and extraordinary vocal quality, confirmed why she is destined to become one of the great voices of new Latin music.
Elena Rose also wanted to involve her followers through a solidarity Meet & Greet, inviting them to participate with a donation destined for the charities chosen by the artist. An initiative supported by Starlite Occident that reflected the same commitment she conveyed on stage. The audience's response was massive, with long queues to access the meet-up.
The international dimension of the evening was again reflected among the audience with the presence of Chiara Ferragni, one of the most influential digital personalities in the world, who attended the concert accompanied by her partner and a group of friends, as well as Mexican artist Bibiana Domit. Ferragni, who had received excellent references about Starlite Occident, enjoyed the experience from the Presidential Box.
Starlite Occident is impressive, my friends have been here many times, seeing Bocelli and many other artists, and they insisted we had to come, everything here is perfect, it really takes your breath away, it’s spectacular, I’m excited to enjoy the show here and I’m sure I will return, declared the Italian influencer and entrepreneur.
For festival attendees, the evening was a unique opportunity to enjoy two great artists while contributing to a humanitarian cause. Starlite Occident once again demonstrated that it is much more than a festival: a project where music, culture, and social commitment have coexisted for seventeen years. This time, transforming a concert into an international platform of solidarity with Venezuela.
Donations for the victims of the earthquakes in Venezuela can still be made through the Starlite Foundation's website, which channels funds to World Central Kitchen and Hogar Bambi Venezuela.
