The Benalmádena Town Hall has opened the new Tourist Office at Castillo El Bil-Bil this Monday, featuring digital screens and virtual reality. The summer hours will remain in effect until further notice.
The Benalmádena Town Hall has launched this Monday, 24 August, the new Tourist Office located at Castillo El Bil-Bil, a space that already serves residents and visitors in one of the most recognisable spots in the town.
The opening is part of the comprehensive renovation that the building has undergone and turns the information point into a cutting-edge facility, with digital screens to provide dynamic and interactive content and virtual reality experiences to discover the attractions of the municipality in an innovative way.
The Councillor for Tourism, Presi Aguilera, explained that this service is a further step in visitor care:
“With the opening of this office, we take another step forward in improving the attention that Benalmádena offers to those who visit us, providing a new information point in a privileged and perfectly recognisable location such as Castillo El Bil-Bil.”
During the summer period, the office maintains extensive hours: from Monday to Friday, 9.00 to 20.00, and on Saturdays and Sundays, 9.00 to 15.00. This schedule is designed to cover peak times on the coast.
Aguilera emphasised that the location at El Bil-Bil allows for the integration of tourist information, heritage, and culture in one space, reinforcing the municipal presence in one of the most visited areas of the coastline.
“We want our visitors to find all the necessary information to know and enjoy Benalmádena, its tourist, cultural, gastronomic, and leisure offerings from the very first moment, and to do so from one of the most emblematic and representative buildings of our municipality.”
The creation of this office was included in the intervention carried out at Castillo El Bil-Bil to enhance the experience of those visiting the town.
“We continue to work to offer modern, accessible, and quality tourist services, in line with the importance of Benalmádena as a reference destination on the Costa del Sol.”
With this new information point, the municipality reinforces its commitment to a more digital and accessible tourism, in one of the most photographed buildings on the Málaga coast. The summer hours will remain in effect until the end of the summer season.
