More than one hundred cameras at Muelle Uno recorded the authors of the shots fired on Tuesday in the capital, which left a 47-year-old Turkish citizen seriously injured. The management of the shopping centre has already handed over the footage to the National Police.
The shopping centre Muelle Uno has made available to the National Police the footage from its more than one hundred security cameras showing the two individuals who shot at a 47-year-old Turkish citizen on the terrace of the Plaza restaurant on Tuesday night, as reported by Diario Sur from sources within the management of the venue. The suspects, who were not wearing masks, came down the stairs from the Paseo de la Farola to the establishment, opened fire shortly after 10:30 PM, injuring the victim with two gunshots, and fled on foot.
The recordings capture the perpetrators at various moments of the sequence, before, during, and after the attack. The management of the port area is working with investigators to locate them.
Muelle Uno has seven permanent security guards, who were the first to attend to the injured person after the shooting. Additionally, there are usually six officers on duty in the gallery and another at the security post at the entrance to the car park, from where the footage is monitored live.
“Muelle Uno is a safe space. If there is concern, it is not due to this specific case, but because there have been seven such events in our province this year,” sources from the management state.
These same sources emphasize that the incident is isolated and that the security of the venue is not in question, although they believe that authorities must take strong action in light of the series of violent episodes in the province.
Since its opening 15 years ago, more than 100 million people have visited Muelle Uno. So far in 2026, over 12 million visitors have been recorded, with projections to close the year at 17 million.
The shooting on Tuesday is the second with a firearm in less than a week in the capital. The investigation remains open to identify and apprehend the two suspects.
