Málaga Regional University Hospital, part of the Andalusian Health Service (SAS), has launched a new website that facilitates access to information about services, healthcare activities, and other relevant aspects of the centre. With this initiative, it becomes the first high-complexity hospital of the SAS to adopt this digital model.
Improvements in user experience
The new portal, which has been operational since October 5, is part of a broader project by the Andalusian Health Service aimed at modernising and unifying the digital environments of public health centres in Andalusia. This new design aims to create more accessible and secure spaces for patients, families, and professionals.
The hospital manager, José Antonio Ortega, has stated that the new website represents a valuable tool for citizens to access useful information about the services and activities of the centre. The platform includes sections related to research, innovation, teaching and training, as well as the humanisation of care and citizen participation.
Collaboration and content adaptation
The development of the portal required the coordinated effort of several units and professionals from the hospital, who have worked on updating the content to ensure a comprehensive view of the organisation. Furthermore, this new structure facilitates the adaptation of information to the characteristics of the target audience.
With this renewal, Málaga Regional University Hospital aligns itself with the trend towards a common digital identity in the Andalusian public health system, while seeking to improve the navigation experience for users and make access to health and institutional information more accessible.
The portal will continue to be updated and expanded to meet the information needs of citizens and health professionals.
