According to sources at Bentley, the Torcal of Antequera, with its rock formations over 200 million years old, embodies the solidity and innovation that the brand wants to convey with its first electric vehicle. Additionally, the word 'torcal' comes from the Latin 'torquere', which means 'to twist', the root of the English word 'torque', a key concept in electric vehicles.
Technical details and shared platform
The Bentley Torcal will be an SUV that, according to initial information, will share a platform with the upcoming electric Porsche Cayenne. This means it will feature an 800-volt system, allowing for charging powers exceeding 400 kW.
