Details of the Robbery and Arrests
The town of Los Palacios, Seville, was the scene of a violent armed robbery on August 26. The Civil Guard has arrested two individuals allegedly involved in the robbery with violence and intimidation at a food establishment.
During the assault, three men arrived on a moped with their faces covered. One of them threatened the owner with a firearm, while another entered the premises to seize the day's takings. The victims' resistance resulted in a struggle that left two of them injured, requiring medical attention.
Investigation and Links to Other Crimes
The seriousness of the robbery caused public alarm in the community. The Civil Guard initiated an investigation using footage from security cameras. This allowed them to identify one of the suspects, who was arrested and linked to three other robberies that occurred in August.
The second arrested suspect is the alleged perpetrator who wielded the weapon during the robbery and is also attributed with vehicle thefts in the same locality.
Both detainees are charged with, among other crimes, robbery with violence and intimidation. The investigation remains open to locate a third individual involved in the assault.
